Free Black History event in Hollywood with live entertainment

Drumming, an African garb fashion show and live entertainment are featured at a Black History event in Hollywood.

The event in 2024 is 6 p.m.  Thursday February 22 and entry is free. 

The Black History Month festivities are at MLK Jr. recreation facilities, with entertainment that includes Barry University Ensemble and performers from local schools. The event in Hollywood is among various Black History events in Broward. 

The venue is at 2400 Charleston Street, Hollywood 33020. Parking is free.
