Free events and back-to-school supplies for eligible Palm Beach students, July & August
Yes, it's that time again; time to get ready for Back to School. Some free school supplies are being offered at numerous events in Palm Beach County for students returning to school for the 2025 fall session.
Note: Some events are in July, some in August.
Events sometimes include free physicals, food vouchers, or even free haircuts. Back To School events occasionally include fun activities and entertainment, plus many provide free backpacks stuffed with school supplies for pre-registered students.
Eligibility requirements vary at different events and often the events require students to show proof of residency in that town to qualify for free items.
Some of the events listed below may allow limited walk-in traffic or are open to the public without pre-registration. We are providing this information to you as a community service, so that hopefully you can find something that will help make sending the kids back to school a little easier.
Events are usually only for local students and residents. The information is subject to change without notice, so please check the resources and verify requirements and details before heading out.
Additionally, many events may be restricted to local residents from specific zip codes and proof of residency may be required, plus child must be present to participate.
Palm Beach County Back To School events
All materials and food are available while supplies last.
Note: The annual Back to School event at the West Palm Beach Convention Center is set for Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, however no more space is available and registration is closed for this year. Pre-registration for next year's event opens in January of 2027. Visit this webpage for details.

Boynton Beach's Back to School: Mission Ready!
When: Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Lake Worth: Back to School Bash
- When: Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Where: Norman J. Wimbley Gymnasium, 1515 Winfield St., Lake Worth Beach

Kick off the school year at the City of Lake Worth Beach’s annual Back to School Bash! Students in elementary, middle, and high school can receive free backpacks and school supplies — while supplies last. Enjoy music, tasty food, and a fun community atmosphere. Registration will open Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
Only Lake Worth Beach residents will be eligible, and must live within Zip Codes in 33460 or 33461.
Palm Springs Back 2 School Bash
- When: Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- Where: Leisure Activity Building, Village of Palm Springs Courtyard, 226 Cypress Lane, Palm Springs.
- Features: School supply giveaways (children must be present); food vendors; and face painters. (Residents only; ID required.)
Wellington: Back-to-School “Party in the Park”
- When: Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m.
- Where: Wellington Amphitheater, 12100 Forest Hill Blvd.
- Features: Supplies, food trucks, vendors, games and activities
