Pro football player participates in recreation event in Pompano

Professional football player Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens is participating in a Fun Day event in Pompano Beach, where Jackson is from. 

Fun Day in 2026 is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 11. From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 12, is a flag football tournament. 

The Fun Day event includes bounce houses, gaming truck and entertainment. The event includes interactive play with Jackson. 

The venue for Fun Day and the football games is McNair Park, 951 NW 27th Ave, Pompano Beach 33069. Entry and parking are free.
