Santa's helpers and visiting elves have been busy decorating for one of its biggest and most imaginative holiday lineups ever.
Seasonal highlights range from a life-size Candy Land game and candy-themed “Storytime Spectacular” to hands-on gingerbread workshops, musical performances, and tech-forward holiday crafting, and more.

A Major Holiday Highlight for Children: A Life-Size Candy Land Adventure
Brand-new this year, families can step inside one of the world’s most beloved board games. Throughout December, children and caregivers can explore a life-size Candy Land game, complete with colorful decorations, themed spaces in KidSpace, and sweet surprises. The interactive walk-through is free, self-guided, and open during library hours.

- Send Holiday Greetings

Kids can write letters to Santa or design holiday cards. Letters addressed to Santa and postcards with mailing addresses will receive a letter back. Any postcards colored for family and friends with an address also will be mailed out. - Let’s Play Candy Land!
Dec. 3–31 | Prefunction Area, 3rd Floor
A self-guided, life-size Candy Land game and immersive candy-themed decorations for children and families. - Storytime Spectacular: Reading is Sweet!

A live candy-themed performance featuring singing, stories, costumes, and interactive fun. Families are invited to explore the life-size Candy Land afterward. - KidSpace Kitchen with Ganache Bakery: Holiday Edition

Children in grades K–5 can learn how to gingerbread house decorating tips from Ganache Bakery’s Jamal Lake.
