The New Music Miami Festival (NMMF) is back with festival discussions and concerts that are free to the public, no ticket required thanks to the generosity of the Festival's sponsors. The concerts take place on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at alternating Miami Beach venues FIU Miami Beach Urban Studios, 420 Lincoln Rd., Ste. 440 and The Betsy Hotel, 1440 Ocean Dr. Register by clicking the links for each concert.
The FIU School of Music celebrates its 29th year of the New Music Miami ISCM Festival, directed by FIU Festival Artistic Director Orlando Jacinto Garcia.
The festival runs Jan. 14 through April 15, 2026 and includes the presentation of music by composers from around the world, many of whom are present to discuss their music for FIU students and audiences.
The festival has continued to expand, featuring new music concerts for acoustic and electro-acoustic instrumentations.
