The Barnacle Historic State Park’s Under Moonlight Concert series runs every second Sunday of the month from September through May and features an impressive line-up of musicians.
Concerts are on the lawn of the historic bayfront site. Gates open at 5:30 pm, allowing time for concertgoers to set down their blankets and lawn chairs and find a comfortable spot to enjoy the show.
Concerts are $10 for adults, $8 for members of The Barnacle Society and $3 for children ages 6 to 9 (under 6 free). Flashlights recommended. No pets.
The 2017 line-up is as follows:
- Oct. 14: Enjoy an evening of Southern Rock music and Grateful Dead tribute as The Barnacle Society presents J Street Revival. JD Danner’s musical background is based in Country/Rock/Americana while Joni Botari’s musical roots are in Blues/Rock and heavily influenced by Jerry Garcia. Joni’s tasteful lead guitar style compliments JD’s rhythm guitar and soulful vocals, and together they have a magnetic command of the stage and a true talent for drawing in an audience. 7-9 pm.
The Barnacle is at 3485 Main Hwy., Coconut Grove, FL 33133, 305-442-6866.
