The Barnacle Historic State Park’s Under Moonlight Concert series runs every second Sunday of the month from September through May and features an impressive line-up of musicians.
Concerts are from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on the lawn of the historic bayfront site. Gates open at 5:30 pm, allowing time for concertgoers to set down their blankets and lawn chairs and find a comfortable spot to enjoy the show.
Concerts are $10 for adults, $8 for members of The Barnacle Society and $3 for children ages 6 to 9 (under 6 free). Flashlights recommended. No pets.
The 2017 line-up is as follows:
- May 14: Mother’s Day concert featuring duo Shawn Fisher and Jordyn Jackson, who describe their music as “Harmonic Alternative Folk.” Anchored by Fisher’s unique and intense guitar playing, Flagship Romance compositions are centered around and feature the couple’s unclassifiable vocal blend.
The Barnacle is at 3485 Main Hwy., Coconut Grove, FL 33133, 305-442-6866.
