Deering Estate $5 admission Labor Day weekend

The historic Deering Estate is offering $5 general admission for Labor Day Weekend, which is August 31 through September 2, 2024. That's a big savings since admission is normally $15 for adults and $7 for children 4-14.

The estate, at 16701 SW 72nd Ave., is offering visitors the chance to enjoy the open space, wildlife viewing, bay vistas and self guided-museum access. Advance tickets are suggested, because the event may sell out. You can buy advance tickets here. The Deering Estate will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; gates close at 4 p.m. Advance purchase is suggested cause there will be a limited number of discount tickets available.
 
Other Deering Estate discounts
  • $2 off for Miami-Dade county employees with ID, Miami-Dade transit pass holders, active-duty military with ID, honorably discharged veterans and seniors 65 and older. These discounts don’t apply during special events.
  • Admission is always free for members.
  • Admission is free for active-duty or reserve military and up to five family members from Memorial Day to Labor Day as part of the Blue Star Museums program.
  • Admission is usually buy one, get one free during Miami Attraction & Museum Months in April and May.
  • Admission is usually $5 for Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day weekends.
