Celebrate Juneteenth with Community Day at The Norton for free, June 20

The public is invited to celebrate the historic holiday of Juneteenth with FREE museum admission for all, and special events throughout the day.

Juneteenth at The Norton Museum

• When: Friday, June 20, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Where: Norton Museum of Art, 1350 S. Dixie Highway
• Features: Live music, dance performances, art-making workshops, tours, and more; a fun event for the whole family. 
• Cost: Free
• Website

This is an intergenerational event that celebrates freedom and spotlights the African American experience with live musical performances, dance, gallery talks on art by African American artists, storytelling, and art-making activities. Visit norton.org for a complete schedule.

Parking in the Norton visitor lot will also be free during the day. There are a limited number of spots, so please, carpool or use public transportation if you are able.
