Free LoveisLove Miami Hip Hop Block Party at Normandy Fountain

If you love hip hop, we're talking all styles here, all of them will be represented during the LoveisLove Miami Hip Hop Block Party at Normandy Fountain on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 6-10 p.m. Admission is free. Click here to RSVP. The event is hosted by Sybarite Productions with support from Museum of Graffiti.

DJ Rich Medina and the DJ's/music curators from Dante's HiFi listening lounge are joining forces to present an evening that pays homage to the five elements of hip hop including DJs, MCs, graffiti, breakdancing and an all-style dance battle. The latter carries a $500 prize and is hosted by DNA and judged by KingLxffy, Staccato and Logistx.

The block party is hosted by LS One with Cyn Rose and guests serving as MC. And because graffiti and hip hop go hand in hand, graffiti and visual artists UncuttArt and MDOTBLAKE.com will create live art while local vendors will showcase hip hop history and culture.

There is an afterparty at nearby Bob's Your Uncle hosted by Jarobi of A Tribe Called Quest and DJ Kumi.
