From C.P.E. Bach’s counterpoint to the contemporary gestures of Thomas Adès, clarinetist and NWS alum Miles Haskins joins the Fellows to trace the evolution of the Baroque.

Reich, Stravinsky & Glass

  • Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 2 p.m.
  • New World Center

New World Symphony plays the giants of the late 20th Century: Philip Glass, Steve Reich and Igor Stravinsky. Grammy-winning violinist Jennifer Koh takes on Glass’ propulsive, swirling Violin Concerto.

Debussy’s Influence

  • Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 2 p.m.
  • New World Center

Violinist Sean Lee joins the Fellows for an exploration of Debussy’s far-reaching influence through color and texture in a concert featuring works by Takemitsu, Saint-Saens and more.

Remembering MTT

  • Sunday, December 20, 2026, at 2 p.m.

From raga-inspired piano riffs to a virtuosic vignette of a chance encounter at a crowded party, celebrate the music, stories and influences of Michael Tilson Thomas, co-founder of New World Symphony.

  • Sunday, January 17, 2027, at 2 p.m.

Virtuosic brothers Anthony and Demarre McGill join New World Symphony for a new Billy Childs concerto for flute and clarinet.

Mozart, Glass & Smetana

  • Sunday, February 7, 2027, at 2 p.m.
  • New World Center

The Horn takes center stage in Mozart’s Quintet, rising to a glorious fanfare. Smetana’s String Quartet is an autobiography of the composer’s life — from dancing polkas in his youth to finding true love.

Steve Reich at 90

  • Sunday, March 14, 2027, at 2 p.m.
  • New World Center

Conductor Brad Lubman leads the Fellows in a collaboration bridging music, visual art and film. The afternoon culminates in the fireworks of Brahms’ String Quintet No. 1.
