Teacher Planning Days Kids Fun Days in North Miami
Teacher planning days can be a challenge for working parents and the City of North Miami is doing its part to help alleviate that with Kids Fun Days at the Griffing Community Center for the 2026-2027 school year.
They'll have plenty of fun activities to keep kids busy, similar to a summer or spring camp day, when there are no classes and the rates are inexpensive, $10 for residents and $20 for non-residents each day. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Participants should pack a lunch and proof of residency is required to receive the resident rate and birth certificate required for first time registrants. Payments can be made at the center or when registering at the North Miami Parks Department located at 1600 NE 126 St. For info call 305-895-9840.
