History

Old School Square, the epicenter of the cultural arts, occupies six acres in downtown Delray Beach. The restored early-20th-century school buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The site houses the Cornell Art Museum, the Crest Theatre, a vintage gymnasium and the Pavilion that hosts outdoor concerts and festivals.

Entertainment, Arts & Culture

Much of Delray's appeal focuses on weekly and monthly art walks, outdoor concerts, green markets and street fairs that not only feature food trucks, vendors and artisans, but also a variety of popup performances and activities. Most are free or cheap ($10-$15) to attend.
