Morikami Sunset Stroll, Delray Beach, Sept. 17
The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach hosts seasonal special events that feature taiko drumming performances and other activities, including a seasonal sunset stroll.
Sunset Stroll
- When: Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
- Where: Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, Delray Beach
- Cost: $7-$12 Ticket sales are available online only until 3 p.m. on the day before the event and will not be sold at the door.
- Features: Taiko drumming and koto performances, plus Japanese fashion & cosplay

Guests are invited to take a leisurely stroll through the Morikami’s Roji-en gardens. Its six distinct gardens are inspired by, but are not replicas of significant gardens of Japan. They also include an expansive koi and turtle pond.

Program:
Lectures will take place in the Theater.
Highlights include live taiko drumming by Fushu Daiko. Their high-energy shows will take place on the Terrace. Guests can also enjoy koto performances by Emiko Koto in the Sakai Room.
Additional highlights include Asian-inspired cuisine and refreshments from Cornell Café, Niigata Sake, Kaminari Ramen, and Akiko-ya Japanese Sweets, showcasing traditional confections.
