Wyland bronze turtle on display in Dania

From internationally renowned artist Wyland, a bronze and steel turtle sculpture is poised as an environmental public art display in Dania Beach.

The 8,000-pound Sea Turtle Beach sculpture is part of a global public art project that focuses on marine life. Other Wyland pieces from that project are in Beijing and Alaska.

For a peek at the installation, which includes representation of fish swimming at a reef, drive by Dania Beach Boulevard and Gulfstream Road.
