Water Matters festival in Davie includes free trees for Broward residents

With a popular festival-style event in Davie, the Broward Natural Resources Division offers the opportunity for Broward residents to nab free trees.

Water Matters Day in 2025 is 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at Tree Tops Park, 954-357-5130, 3900 SW 100th Ave., Davie 33328

Entry into the park is $3 per vehicle with up to 8 people on weekends and holidays. Entry for the festival is free.

The event includes educational exhibits about protecting water resources, food trucks, and speakers.

Broward residents are usually eligible to request two free native plants and trees, which are typically Florida-friendly and environmentally preferable.

Parking is free.
