Stroll Aventura Mall and experience a free art walk

Aventura Mall is more than just a shopping destination, it is also a place to view public art.

With more than 25 public art installations spread from end to end, a visit here is a great opportunity to have a cultural experience while getting your steps in.

Everyone is encouraged to scan QR codes on the ArtWalk to discover artist stories and behind-the-scenes details about each piece. 

While strolling you will encounter art pieces by international and local artists. Highlights include:

Carsten Höller’s “Aventura Slide Tower,” a spiraling, two-story slide located outside by several restaurants and the Apple Store.

Louise Bourgeois’ “Eye Benches” which blend functionality with artistic expression and seem to follow you as you walk along.

Wendell Castle’s “Veiled in a Dream,” a bronze multi-functional piece serving as both a sculpture and furniture where you an enjoy a seat and rest during the mall walk.

The Haas Brother's “Gorillas in the Mist,” an outdoor installation featuring three large-scale bronze gorillas, four bronze trees and five hand-carved marble benches. The piece circulates water and is intended as a sculpture and children's playground.

Those are just a few examples and the idea is look up, ahead and all around you to experience art at Aventura Mall. The website features a full list of all public art featured. Click here to read ahead and take advantage of the full experience.

A definite must is comfortable shoes, Aventura Mall is a 2-mile indoor walking path with plenty of stairs and escalators to enjoy the multi-level experience.
