Sonic Drive-In offers Classic Shake for just $1.99 on first day of fall

Summer is officially over! And Sonic Drive-In is shaking up the first day of fall for shake lovers on a budget. 

The restaurant is known for its variety of cool treats — from slushes to shakes. All perfect for cooling down on a warm autumn day. And, for one day only, the popular fast-food restaurant is offering a sweet discount on its popular Classic Shakes.

On Sept. 22, 2025, Sonic Drive-In is serving a small Classic Shake for just $1.99 at participating locations. Add-ins cost extra.

A small Classic Shake is regularly $4.69, so it’s a savings of nearly 60%. Regular price may vary by location.

The sweet deal is only available for Sonic’s loyalty program. Join the program here.

Limit one shake per member.

The Classic Shake is available in the following flavors:

  • Banana – Made with creamy vanilla soft serve, bananas and finished with whipped topping and a cherry.
  • Caramel – Made with creamy vanilla soft serve, rich caramel flavor and finished with whipped topping and a cherry.
  • Chocolate – Made with creamy vanilla soft serve, rich chocolate sauce, and finished with whipped topping and a cherry.
  • Hot Fudge – Made with creamy vanilla soft serve, rich hot fudge flavor and finished with whipped topping and a cherry.
  • Peanut Butter – Made with creamy vanilla soft serve, peanut butter and finished with whipped topping and a cherry.
  • Strawberry – Made with creamy vanilla soft serve, real strawberries and finished with whipped topping and a cherry.
  • Vanilla – Made with creamy vanilla soft serve and finished with whipped topping and a cherry.
