Tent or Tepee Camping at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield

Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield offers tents and tepees for rent for overnight camping. The tents are set up when you arrive for your overnight at the park.

The tents are on platforms. The sites, which are on a peninsula overlooking lakes, include water, electricity and Wi-Fi access.

The fee for up to four people is $40 per site per night, which includes the park entrance fees on weekends. 1 or 2 others at the site pay $4 per person per night. Tax is extra.  Fees include a refundable security deposit of $50. For reservations, dial 954-357-5100

Michael Mills, a Broward Parks & Recreation spokesman, who was delighted with his stay stated he used a long heavy-duty industrial extension cord with a power strip for hooking up a fan, lantern, and portable DVD player. “The tents and tepees are both surprisingly roomy once you’re inside,” he said.
