Plywood Regatta in Dania is free for students & spectators

Teens from schools in South Florida are building watercraft from plywood and hopping aboard their DIY boats in the Plywood Regatta in Dania Beach.

Plywood Regatta event in 2026 is 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, April 25 – April 26, and the floating tournament is free for spectators.

 Broward students from middle and and high schools are eligible to participate. Register by March 28 online. 

The venue is Dania Beach marina, 300 N. Beach Road, Dania Beach. Regular parking fees at the marina are $5.
