This year, McDonald’s is going all in on the classic peel for the game. With all the pieces in your hands, fans will now have just one way to peel — with all gameplay done in the app. Download the McDonald’s app here.

Peel the game piece on select food and beverage items, then scan in the app to cash in instant-win food or loyalty points. Or collect and play for the biggest prizes – like a $1 million cash prize, a 2027 Jeep Cherokee, FREE McDonald’s for a Year and more.

How to Play MONOPOLY Game at McDonald’s:

REGISTER: Download the app, opt in to Rewards and register for the MONOPOLY Game.
ORDER + PEEL: From Oct. 6 to Nov. 1, 2026, order eligible menu items and peel the game piece sticker.

BONUS: Get a bonus Chance Card Gameplay in the app for each eligible item purchased via the McDonald’s app or by showing your Rewards code at the kiosk, counter or drive-thru – but only if you’ve registered before ordering.

Game Piece Options

Fans can peel to reveal four different prize opportunities and every one of them is a chance to win.

Here are the four prize opportunities available on each game piece:

Instant-Win Food = FREE McDonald’s food
Instant-Win Loyalty Points = 1,500 to 7,000 MyMcDonald’s Reward Points
Collect-to-Win = Collect a winning combination of property pieces to win a major prize
Chance Card = Play the Chance Card Game in the app for a chance to win a prize

No Purchase Necessary to Play

There is no purchase necessary to play McDonald’s MONOPOLY Game. However, the process to get a game piece has changed for 2026. You must now send a request via snail mail to obtain a FREE game piece.

You can receive one Game Piece (which also earns one bonus Chance Card Game play) when you mail in a request in a postage-paid (not metered) outer envelope with a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) inside.

That means each request will require two first-class postage stamps — one for the outer envelope and one for the SASE.

Your Request must be mailed no sooner than Sept. 22, 2026, and must be received no later than Nov. 2, 2026.

Within the outer envelope there must be a SASE with your complete mailing address and sufficient return postage (first-class stamp; not metered). Vermont residents may omit return postage.

Limit one request per outer envelope.

One game piece will be mailed to each request that complies with these requirements, while supplies last.
