‘No Vacancy’ art competition celebrates local artists

The City of Miami Beach, in collaboration with the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority (MBVCA), is pleased to promote the 2022 edition of “No Vacancy.” This is a juried art competition that not only supports and celebrates mainly local artists, but it also provokes critical discourse, and encourages the public to experience Miami Beach’s famed hotels as temporary art destinations in their own right.

The public is invited to cast their vote by visiting said displayed projects, and see the work for themselves!

Projects will be displayed at the following 12 hotels on Miami Beach, listed in alphabetical order:

Avalon Hotel Miami
The Betsy South Beach
Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club
The Catalina Hotel & Beach Club
Hotel Croydon Miami Beach
Esmé Miami Beach Hotel
Fontainebleau Miami Beach
Faena Miami Beach
International Inn on the Bay
Loews Miami Beach Hotel
Riviera Suites South Beach
Royal Palm South Beach

Voting ends Dec. 7 and winners will be announced Dec. 8.

See the following website for more information and how to vote for your favorite artist at: mbartsandculture.org/no-vacancy.
