The abundance of colorful foliage and delicate ponds at Miami Beach Botanical Garden adds to the ambiance of its bimonthly special event, “Garden After Dark.”

On Thursdays, from 5:30-8 p.m., enjoy:
- Live Music
- Shop and tour with Gaylord
- Art exhibit “En Plein Air” and a meet-and-greet with artist Gaspar Saldhana
- Yoga sessions with Will Thomas on the Great Lawn
- Pop-up shops
- Garden center visit
- Cocktails and light fare for purchase
Tickets are $10 for members and $20 for nonmembers. The yoga session costs an additional $10.
Safety notice: Mask wearing, social distancing and prescribed pathway guidelines will be in place to ensure a safe experience.
The live entertainment schedule is as follows:
Nov. 5: Miami’s local band Cortadito performs Cuban dance music. Their sound is described as an updated Buena Vista Social Club.
Nov. 19: One of Miami’s most popular DJs, DJ Le Spam, plays a blend of classic soul, ska and Latin music from his vast vinyl collection.
Dec. 3: Rose Max Samba Band features the Brazilian singer belting out authentic samba tunes with her full band as backup.
Dec. 17: Holiday Jazz Band features the trio of Kelly Davis, Julie Dow and Paul Shewchuck performing parodies and songs of holiday songs from all faiths and traditions.
