Live theatre workshop by Coconut Grove Theatre Festival

Watching live theatre is an exciting prospect for any culture lover but what if you had the opportunity to watch an open rehearsal, viewing a play come to life and develop right before your eyes.

The Coconut Grove Theatre Festival is offering a chance at this experience on Friday, Aug. 7,  at 7 p.m. during a Live Theatre Workshop at ARRAE Gallery in Coconut Grove.

There you can watch an open rehearsal of the play "If These Walls," by Alejandro Rodriguez, an alum of the CGT Festival. They're encouraging audience feedback as they perform, discuss and reshape the play. And because it's being presented in a gallery, amongst artwork, they will be raffling a poster by artist Allen Penniman and an illustration of the play to be created by artist ManD'oh live during the event.

Tickets to the workshop are $10 and for an additional $5, you can be entered into the raffle for the artworks. Click here to buy.
