Free Kwanzaa events in Fort Lauderdale

Free workshops, performances and presentations are offered for Kwanzaa at the African American branch library in Fort Lauderdale.

Some of the events for 2022 are online. Others, offered December 26 – December 31, are at the library, 2650 Sistrunk Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311. 

Kwanzaa events at the library include a showcase of live performances 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. December 30 with singing and West African dance. Food is available for purchase. A marketplace offers shopping from local vendors. 

Reserve tickets for workshops and other events online. Events are presented by Friends of the African American Research Library. Free parking on-site.

Other events at Broward libraries are online.
