Vendors from black-owned businesses, African dance and other performances are featured at a Kwanzaa event at the African-American Library in Fort Lauderdale.
The event in 2025 is 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, December 27, with a focus on respect for African people globally. Workshops and activities for kids are offered.

Fort Lauderdale Provident Park
Kwanzaa Ujamaa at Provident Park in Fort Lauderdale is 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, December 29, and entry is free.
The event features Afrocentric entertainment and festivities.
Ujamaa is a facet of the holiday that focuses on cooperative economics.
