Jam on percussion for free or join $5 jam

Channel the inner musician  you’ve always wanted to be on Friday nights during the free Friday Night Drum Jam from 7-9 p.m. at the South Florida Center for Percussive Arts, 12770 SW 125 Ave., Ste. 101 South Dade.

Each Friday evening guests can try many different percussion instruments including hand drums and drum sets. The event happens most Friday nights, but it’s wise to check ahead.

The community jam session, from 8-10 p.m., resumes Sept. 22, 2022. It will take place monthly, on Wednesday night. A $5 donation is suggested. Guitar players need to bring their own amps.
