Water Taxi on The Intracoastal Waterway runs scenic routes in Fort Lauderdale & Pompano Beach, and an express route from Fort Lauderdale to Hollywood.

Water Taxi routes in Fort Lauderdale

Some use the yellow vessels to travel from place to place, appreciating the luxury of avoiding traffic and parking. Water Taxis provide

hop-on/hop-off points for shopping, dining and sightseeing along regular routes on the Intracoastal Waterway, New River and Hollywood
Narrated Tours. Relax onboard and savor the scenery and narrated tours. Narration includes “fun facts about all the gorgeous homes, yachts, and South Florida history,” the Water Taxi website states. The watercraft sell adult beverages and other drinks, with 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. Happy Hour

Fares for Fort Lauderdale excursions

$40 for age 12-64
$35 for age 65 and older and military
$20 for age 5-11
free for age 4 and younger
holiday hours Water Taxi runs to 4 p.m. December 24, $25 tickets valid to 4 p.m.
discount opportunity — Happy Hour fares after 5 p.m. are $25 for age 12 and older, $20 for ages 5-11 and free for kids younger than 5.
Holiday Lights excursions December 5 – January 4, $45 for adults and $15 for kids ages 3 to 11
Sunset Music cruises November 9 and November 30 for ages 18 and older are about $69, including gratuities, live entertainment, bar bites from Shooters Waterfront and drinks from the bar. These events are not eligible for discounts. Processing fee of about $1 is extra.

Pompano Beach routes are offered as of December 16, with information about routes posted online.

$30 per day
discount opportunity — $15 after 5 p.m.
$10 for kids ages 5 – 11
free for 4 and younger
$25 for seniors & U.S. military
