Hollywood is throwing festivities packed with events and entertainment for its 100th birthday, including a free concert by popular recording artists Kool and The Gang.
Free entry is offered for events at ArtsPark on Hollywood Boulevard and Federal Highway both Friday and Saturday, November 21 and 22.
The celebration is 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, November 21. That event will include:
- Vendors
- Historical Displays
- Snow flurries
- Sledding hill
- photos with Santa
- laser light show
- On the Roxx band at 8 p.m.
- free popcorn and treats
- toy drive drop box for new unwrapped toys

ArtsPark in Hollywood
The celebration is 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, November 22. That include will include:
- History of Hollywood documentary at 5:30 p.m.
- Car show
- Kids' zone with bounce houses
- Historic displays
- laser light show
- Michael Arenella & His Dreamland Orchestra at 7 p.m.
- Kool & the Gang band at 9 p.m.
Feel free to bring lawn seating. Hollywood prohibits single-use plastic and foam items.

Free parking is featured 3 p.m. on Friday to 5 p.m. Sunday in the downtown district

November 21 and 22 rides requested on the app at the beach and downtown district are free with the promo code “CITY100.” If you see a shuttle, wave to the driver for a free ride.
