If you love buying fresh fruit at a grower's market, like banana, avocado, guava, dragon fruit or soursop, these are only a few of the native and exotic specialties you'll find at Fruit & Spice Park this month in Homestead.
Open: Daily, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
September deal: If you visit the garden this month, you get buy-one-get-one-free admission. Purchase one (1) admission and receive a second admission, of equal or lesser value, for free.
You still need to RSVP for daily tasting tours at noon and 3 p.m. for an additional fee.
Admission is currently $10 per adult and $5 per child 5-11. After Oct. 1, 2024, prices increase to $15 and $8.

The park is 37 acres nestled in the heart of the historic Redland community, just 35 miles south of Miami. It is surrounded by thousands of acres of tropical agriculture.
Fruit & Spice Park features more than 500 varieties of exotic fruits, herbs, spices and nuts from around the world; 180 varieties of mangos; 70 varieties of bamboo; 40 varieties of bananas; 15 varieties of jackfruit trees, and numerous other exotic edibles that are grown, maintained and harvested.

The park is open in all weather conditions, except when there is lightning. Please be advised that the tram's regular schedule may be delayed 30 minutes if lighting is within 10 miles of the park. If lightning persists in the area, the tram tour may be canceled. A visit can include extensive walking, so plan your attire accordingly.
You may take a small picnic to enjoy at the park or order food to be delivered to the park during your visit. There are picnic tables throughout the park. Read this to help you plan your trip.
