Free Touch A Truck event in Coconut Creek

Touch A Truck events are popular with youngsters who are interested in interacting with their favorite vehicles, and perhaps hopping in and honking the horn.

A Touch A Truck event 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday March 9 in North Broward offers free entry. The event includes police, fire and public works trucks, among others.

Food trucks selling refreshments and DJ entertainment are at the event.

The first hour of the event is without horns or loud noises for youngsters who prefer a quieter event.

The venue is the Butterfly Lot, 5280 NW 40th Street, Coconut Creek.

Organizers request that pets be left at home.

A Touch A Truck event in Plantation in Saturday March 16, and entry is free.

In Sunrise, an event features  free bike safety expo, touch a truck & vintage vehicles
