Free: Embrace Tango, outdoor on Lincoln Road, Miami Beach

Milonga is a form of music and dance style originating from Argentina, Uruguay and Southern Brazil. The genre is derived from an African word meaning “lines of dancers.”

Embrace Tango is now offering a free outdoor milonga on Lincoln Road. Registration required to participate.

Agenda:

  • When: Sunday, Sept. 29, 2024, on Miami Beach, 4-8 p.m.
  • Where: Euclid Oval, 690 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach
    4-5 p.m.: Open Role Class by Tango Femme Sofi-Loren
    5-8 p.m.: Social Dance with TDJ Lore 10 & Alex SZ

Note: For those interested in learning how to tango, classes will be offered Friday-Saturday, Sept. 27-28, at the Overtown Performing Arts Center; $30-$45. Only the Sunday event is free.
