Free South Beach Jazz Summer Series at The Bass Rotunda
The South Beach Jazz Festival is hosting the Power Access South Beach Jazz Summer Series with a free concert by the Frost Alternative String Ensemble at The Bass museum's new Rotunda space on Thursday, July 16 from 6:30-8 p.m. RSVP for free tickets here.
Hosted by Miami's very own Nicole Yarling, a longtime local performer, the group features musicians from the University of Miami and the South Florida community.
The group bridges the gap between classical and contemporary and non-traditional musical styles with a repertoire that includes jazz, rock, bluegrass, R&B, and world music.
There will also be a special presentation by violinists Coco Brown, Joselle Lorquet and Fae Busta, cellist Starina Dhaiti, bassist Christian Gallucci and percussionist Steve Kornicks.
