Free Miami Sound Space collective singing workshop welcomes everyone
If you've always wanted to sing or be part of a choir, this is your chance. No experience needed in fact, this collective encourages everyone to partake.
You get your chance on Sunday, October 4 from 2-5 p.m. at the Koubek Center in Little Havana when conductor, singer, educator, and Miami Sound Space founder Laurah Merisier leads a participatory workshop Who Gets to Sing? An Experiment in Collective Singing.

Miami Sound Space is a community choir collective creating opportunities for people across Miami to sing together. Through collective singing, listening, and decision-making, everyone gets to explore musicianship as something practiced together, no matter the level of experience. It's a way to break down traditional barriers and explore community singing as a way to foster cultural understanding.
The event is part of the LALA Open Studio series, monthly artist-led workshops that are part of the Live Arts Labs Alliance (LALA), Live Arts Miami’s artist development and creative community program.
