Earlier this year, Oolite Arts and the City of Miami Beach issued an open call to Miami-based filmmakers to show their affection for the city by entering a “Local Love Letters” film contest. Nine winners each received $5,000 to develop a 3-to-5-minute short film featuring Miami Beach as the backdrop.
New World Symphony’s SoundScape Park will showcase the winning entries on Thursday, Dec. 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. This is a FREE outdoor screening of the 9 winning short films.
Location: New World Center, Soundscape Park, 500 17th St., Miami Beach, FL.
Take something comfortable to sit on, like a lawn chair or blanket.
The outdoor venue accommodates 200-300 guests comfortably. We suggest arriving early to claim your spot.
