Library branches in Broward occasionally feature free entertaining events including live performances.

Some events are for kids and families. Others are aimed at adults. At lots of library branches, parking is free.

Trains on display

Model trains run through villages representing 1950s, 1960s and other decades at the Southwest Regional Library, 954-357-6580, 16835 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines 33331. The display is featured in December to January 6 at the library. It is organized by The Florida Citrus Train Society.
