Free Liberty City Health Fair

The University of Miami Department of Community Services is hosting a free Liberty City Health Fair, open to the public (pre-registration required), at D.A. Dorsey Technical College on Saturday, September 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is open to everyone, regardless of health insurance or immigration status. Click here to pre-register.

Here are the services they'll be providing that day:

• Breast exam
• Hearing test
• Blood pressure measurement
• Blood sugar/diabetes testing
• Bone density and colon cancer screening
• Cholesterol testing
• Pediatric and adolescent health and developmental screening
• Abdominal aortic aneurysm screening
• Skin cancer and mental health screening
• HIV & hepatitis C screening
• Vision & glaucoma screening
