Free ‘Family Fest in the Park’ in Miami

Family Fest continues the road trip. Through a partnership with Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces, the Arsht Center introduces Family Fest in the Parks. The next event will feature live music and a family film.

5:30 p.m. – Live performance by student ensemble The Mays String Quartet.

6 p.m. – South Florida sibling act Sons of Mystro will perform original music and genre-melding interpretations of reggae and pop classics.

7 p.m. – Screening of the Disney-Pixar movie “Soul,” about a band teacher’s visit to a spiritual realm and featuring the voices of Jamie Foxx, Angela Bassett, Tina Fey, Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and Daveed Diggs with music by Jon Batiste and Trent Reznor.
