The Museum’s Education Department heads lead a one-hour guided tour through the Lowe’s newest exhibition “Transcendent Clay/Kondo: A Century of Japanese American Art.” Ranging from traditional porcelain vessels to meditative sculptures cast from the artist’s body, our tour will focus on highlighting some of the most fascinating and iconic pieces from this exhibition, exploring the techniques, influences, and cultural context behind the artwork.
