Free Coral Gables trolley expands service

Coral Gables trolleyThe Coral Gables Trolley is a great way to get around the city’s downtown and now the trolley has added more stops to cover more area.

Currently, the North/South Ponce de Leon Blvd. route runs along Ponce de Leon Blvd. from Douglas Metrorail station to Flagler every 10 to 15 minutes from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. with service extended to 10 p.m. on the first Friday of the month.

Added to this service is a new Grand Avenue Loop, which begins at Douglas Metrorail station leaving southbound Douglas Road (Southwest 37th Avenue), westbound on Grand Avenue, north on LeJeune Road, then east on Granello Avenue and back to Douglas Metrorail station. Passengers can also travel to trolleys going to downtown Coral Gables at the Metrorail station. Service is scheduled for every 12 to 15 minutes Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
