Free coffee with friends and new public installation in Coral Gables
Kick off your Friday and the upcoming weekend with a jolt of java during the Aussie Coffee with New Friends on Friday, Aug. 14, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Threefold Cafe on Giralda Ave. in Coral Gables. RSVP here.
Stop in between those hours and enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee at this community meet-up event. The coffee shop serves Australian-inspired coffee so it's the ideal place for the community event hosted by "America Josh," founded by Australian-born Josh Pugh, who moved to the United States in 2017.
Come back at 6 p.m. for the opening of the public art installation Giralda in Bloom and a first look at the overhead display of floral-patterned umbrellas that will adorn the plaza for a few months. There will also be live music and a mini market until 8:30 p.m.
