Calling all kids, parents, scouts, naturalists, neighbors and birding enthusiasts. After a 2-year pandemic hiatus, BIRD DAY returns to the 2.2-acre Tropical Audubon Society campus from noon to 4 p.m. on Feb. 18, 2023. Now in its ninth iteration, the annual event is an engaging, educational afternoon filled with enriching outdoor experiences. Features include interactive activities and prizes at this free nature festival designed for folks of every age.

BIRD DAY celebrates the annual northbound flight of nearly 350 species of migratory birds stopping in South Florida on their return to North America from spending the winter in the Caribbean, Central and South America and Mexico.
Food: Nacho Bizness truck will be onsite with delicious home-style tacos, quesadillas, and burritos for purchase for your picnic.
Parking: Limited free parking via the 55th Avenue auto entry gate; free parking at Riviera Presbyterian Church; various meter, garage and valet options within 1-3 blocks; plus, Metrorail service to South Miami Station.
