Fans of the Florida Panthers are sharing in the victory of the winning hometown team with a parade and rally in Fort Lauderdale.
The parade for the Broward-based team that won the National Hockey League top trophy in 2024 is 11 a.m. Sunday, June 30, on A1A from Riomar Street to Southeast Fifth Street. Festivities include a rally at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, 1100 Seabreeze Blvd, Fort Lauderdale 33316.
Parking fees are usually about $4 an hour.
Organizers said information about the events is going to be posted on the Panthers website. The team won the title June 24, nabbing the Stanley Cup prize.
