Ocean Brews beer festival in Deerfield Beach

The Ocean Brews beer festival is 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at Deerfield beach parking lot, 149 SE 21st Avenue, Deerfield Beach  33441. Entry is free. Food and drinks are offered for purchase. The festival is for ages 21 and older. 

Beer tasting tickets are $45 and $55 while the promotion is offered and $65 at the event.  Free parking and shuttles are offered at St. Ambrose, 380 S. Federal Highway, Deerfield Beach

Dog Expo 

The Dog Expo features pet-theme vendors 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday May 2, and entry is free for people and leashed dogs.  The venue is Windmill Park, 700 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek 33063.

Touch A Truck events 

Davie

Free Touch A Truck event in Davie  for kids and families is 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at Bergeron Rodeo, 4201 Rodeo Way, Davie. Entry is free. Parking is free.

Pompano Beach

Touch A Truck in Pompano Beach for kids and families is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 2, at the park at 1660 NE 10th Street, Pompano Beach. Entry and parking are free.

Fort Lauderdale Air Show

The Fort Lauderdale Air Show  May 9 and May 10 on Fort Lauderdale beach offers paid seating areas and places to watch for free. 

Water Works in Pompano Beach

Bring your towel. Water slides, a toddler zone and food vendors are featured at Water Works. The free event  is 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at the pool and park at 901 NW 10th Street, Pompano Beach. Parking is free.

Hollywood Art Walk 

Free downtown Hollywood ArtWalk features tours, live entertainment, and vendors in a walkable district. The event is 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. third Saturdays on Hollywood Boulevard and Harrison Street.

Great American Beach Party in Fort Lauderdale

The free Great American Beach Party is 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at the beach and Las Olas Oceanside Park. The Great American Beach Party includes water slides, vintage vehicles, parachute jumpers, entertainment, sand sculpting, art show,  and other features. Entry is free. Parking is $25. 

 

Free outdoor films in Broward

Tamarac

Hollywood

Free films usually 8 p.m. Fridays at ArtsPark on Hollywood Boulevard and Federal Highway
