Festivals, entertainment & events in June in Broward

Refreshing dive-in films at public pools, entertainment galore at Juneteenth festivals, and lots of free events to rock out with popular bands are featured in June in Broward.  If you're interested in free and inexpensive things to do, here are some ideas.

Events in June in 2026 in Broward

Oakland Park Pride

Events and entertainment for kids and grownups are featured at Oakland Park Pride, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, June 5, with free entry. The venue is Pastorius Park, 4000 N. Dixie Highway, Oakland Park.

Water safety at pool in Dania 

Splash and Learn for ages 3 and older is 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 5 and entry is free.  The venue is the public pool, 2901 SW 52nd St., Dania Beach 33312. 

Soccer events with entertainment, matches and youth workshops

Enthusiasm for the FIFA world soccer tournament brings includes free events in Lauderhill with youth soccer events, soccer games and entertainment Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7.

Caribbean Heritage Festival in Sunrise

Steel drumming and other island rhythms are featured Caribbean Heritage Festival in Sunrise from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 6. Entry is free. 

The Caribbean Heritage Festival includes:

Dive-in film in Pompano Beach

The film “Lilo & Stich” is featured 8 p.m. Friday, June 12, at the aquatics facilities, 901 NW 10th St., Pompano Beach 33060. Entry is free.

Tunes ‘n Trucks in Sunrise

Tunes ‘n Trucks on Friday, June 12, is featuring a Juneteenth vibe and Motown entertainment. Food trucks are offered at 6 p.m. and entertainment is at 7 p.m., featuring Old Skool Gang.

Entry and parking are free. Lawn seats and blankets are recommended. The festivities are at City Park, 6600 Sunset Strip.

Sweet Potato Pie Juneteenth Festival in Pompano Beach

Juneteenth Blues and Sweet Potato Pie Festival is 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 13, and entry is free. The venue is Apollo Park, 1580 NW Third  Avenue, Pompano Beach 33060.

The event includes old-fashioned games, face painting, food vendors, fashion show, dance, historical displays and performances.

Other Juneteenth events:

Juneteenth Block Party in Tamarac is at 6 p.m. Friday, June 19, at Tamarac Village, 9090 NW 57th Street. Entry is free. 

Juneteenth festival in Deerfield Beach will feature rides, a kids' zone and live entertainment 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 13, in Deerfield Beach. The event is at the recreation building at 445 SW Second St., Deerfield Beach 33441. Food trucks are part of the event. Entertainment includes:

  • 5 p.m. LaVie, Gospel and R&B
  • 6:45 p.m. Pan Paradise
  • 8 p.m. Nice & Smooth, hip hop 

Davie Family Fun & Public Safety event 

The Family Fun & Public Safety festivities are 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, June 13 and entry is free. The event is at Bergeron Rodeo arena, 4201 SW 65th Way, Davie 33314. 

Taste of the Islands in Miramar

Taste of the Islands in Miramar is 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 13, and entry is free. The event features Caribbean foods and beverages for purchase. The venue is City Hall Plaza, 2300 Civic Center Place. Parking is free.

Stonewall Pride Street Festival and Parade

The lively Stonewall Pride Parade and Festival is 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 20, with the parade at 8 p.m. on Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors. Tickets purchased prior to the event are $16 with fees and $19 at the event. VIP tickets are offered. Parking is $25. 

Hollywood ArtWalk

Hollywood ArtWalk in the downtown district is 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 20, and other third Saturdays with tours, live entertainment and vendors. Entry is free.

Free entry at MODS in Fort Lauderdale for Family Pride event

Skip the usual fees for this attraction in Fort Lauderdale. Entry is free for the Family Pride event at the Museum of Discovery and Science 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 27, with the usual exhibits and Pride activities.  The address is 401 SW Second Street, Fort Lauderdale 33312.  Parking fees are usually $3 to $4 an hour.

Caribbean Heritage festival 

Island vibes, Island flavors and Island rhythms are featured at the festival 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. Saturday, June 27 in Pembroke Pines. Groove to Kompa, reggae and other genres. 

The Caribbean Heritage festival includes
