If you like to be out and about with family and friends, November offers plenty of festive things to do in Broward.

Weston features ‘Wonka'

For frugal entertainment, Weston Regional Park  offers occasional outdoor movies that are free.

7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 2 the film is “Wonka”

Weston  Regional Park, which  is at 20200 Saddle Club Road, Weston 33327.  Parking is free. 

ArtsFest in Pembroke Pines

Art displays, interactive workshops and live performances are included at the Art and Music Fest in Pembroke Pines.  The event is a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 2 and 12 p.m. to  5 p.m. Sunday, November 3, with free entry. 

Performers include SASA African Dance Theatre, The Rock Show, and Samba Queens.

Riverwalk Mutts and Martinis

Mutts & Martinis in 2024 is 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Saturday, November 9  at Esplanade Park, 400 SW Second Street, Fort Lauderdale 33312. Regular entry is free.

Camelot Days in Hollywood

It's a fantasy world with activities and entertainment from the Middle Ages at TY Park in Hollywood. The festival is November 9-10, 16-17 and 23-24 with an opportunity for a discount.

Light Up events

Santa is out and about at light up festivals, which often include entertainment and activities.

Light Up Dania

Light Up Dania includes a synthetic ice rink with skating, drone show and entertainment. The event is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. November 16 and entry is free.  It's at Dania City Hall, 100 W. Dania Beach Blvd., Dania Beach. Parking is free.

StoryBook Festival at Broward library in Pembroke Pines

StoryBook Festival features free books  for the first 1,000 kids, Fantasy Forest and activities. The event is 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 16 and entry is free.   The  event is at  Southwest Regional Library, 954-357-6580, 16835 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines 33331.

Diwali Festival in Fort Lauderdale

Diwali, an Indian festival of lights holiday, is 12 p.m. –  10 p.m. Saturday, November 16, with  displays, entertainment and vendors. The selection of items for purchase include jewelry, apparel and Indian foods. Entertainment features hundreds of kids, teens and adults performing Indian folk and Bollywood dances.

Discount opportunity

Prior to the event, tickets are $12 online. At the event, it's $15.

This Diwali festival is at the Broward Convention Center, 1950 Eisenhower Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale 33316.  For parking, the fee is $20.

Holiday Parade

The holiday parade in Plantation is 9 a.m. Saturday, November 23 including Broward Boulevard.
