If you like to be out and about with family and friends, November offers plenty of festive things to do in Broward.

Events in 2025 in Broward 

Home Show 

South Florida Home Show in Pembroke Pines is 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 1, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, November 2, with free parking and an opportunity for free tickets. 

Register online for free tickets. At the door, the price is $10. Parking is free.

Weston features free outdoor movies 

For frugal entertainment, Weston Regional Park  offers occasional outdoor movies that are free.

Free films include:

  • 7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 1 

The event is at Weston  Regional Park, which  is at 20200 Saddle Club Road, Weston 33327. Parking is free. 

Diwali in Davie 

Diwali festival of lights  is 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, November 8, and includes displays, entertainment and vendors. The selection of items for purchase include jewelry, apparel and Indian foods. Entertainment features hundreds of kids, teens and adults performing Indian dances.

Prior to the event, tickets are $12 online. At the event, it's $15.

This Diwali festival is at the indoor arena at Nova Southeastern University, 3301 College Avenue, Davie 33314.

Drone Show in Pompano 

The exciting drone show is 7 p.m. Saturday, November 8, with free entry. Entertainment is 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., featuring a DJ and live band. 

The drone show features about hundreds of lighted drones forming patterns and pictures in the sky off the Fisher Family Pier at 222 N. Pompano Beach Blvd., Pompano Beach. 

Art and Music Festival in Pembroke Pines

Displays featuring artwork from professional and student artists, live performances and interactive workshops are included at an Arts Festival in Pembroke Pines.

The popular Art & Music Fest in the Pines event  is 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 8, and  Sunday, November 9, with free entry.

The venue  is City Center, 601 City Center Way, Pembroke Pines. Parking is free.

Autumn Events in Fort Lauderdale

Riverland Park

Fall Festival is 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. November 8 at Riverland Park, 950 SW 27th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale 33312

Croissant Park

Fall Festival is 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. November 8  at 245 W. Park Drive, Fort Lauderdale 33315

Riverwalk International Food Festival

Riverwalk International Food Festival in 2025 is 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 15, and entry is free. Food and drinks are offered for purchase. The festival is at Esplanade Park on the scenic Riverwalk promenade along The New River.  The event includes live entertainment and lawn games.

Esplanade Park is at 400 SW Second Street, Fort Lauderdale 33312Parking is usually about $3 an hour.

StoryBook Festival at Broward library in Pembroke Pines

StoryBook Festival features free books  for the first 1,000 kids, Fantasy Forest and activities. The event is 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 15, and entry is free.  The event is at  Southwest Regional Library, 954-357-6580, 16835 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines 33331.

Favorite Disco songs in Weston

7 p.m. November 15 features Dancing Queen performing Disco and other favorites.

Weston Regional Park is at  20200 Saddle Club Road, Weston 33326.  A park playground is in the area for families with younger kids.  No alcohol permitted. Please leave pets at home.

Holiday Parade

The holiday parade in Plantation is 9 a.m. Saturday, November 22, with floats and entertainment.

Santa is out and about at light up festivals, which often include entertainment and activities.
