With Dad's Day deals, participation may vary, and restrictions and exceptions may apply.

Father's Day in 2024 is Sunday, June 16, and deals are usually valid that day. Occasionally deals are valid extra days.

‘Clue' at Broward Center

Flamingo Gardens with Dinosaur exhibit

Free for dads Father’s Day at Flamingo Gardens in Davie with a guest paying full price. Flamingo Gardens is featuring a display of animatronic dinosaurs, and June 16 includes live band and other extra features. Free & Inexpensive Things To Do for Father's Day

Hollywood Bandshell

Free live entertainment  7 p.m. to 9 p.m. June 16  in Hollywood. Hollywood Beach Bandshell on Hollywood Broadwalk is at 320 Johnson St., Hollywood. The Broadwalk features restaurants and bars if you'd like to dine. Parking at the beach is $4 per hour Fridays through Sundays. Residents of Hollywood may apply for a discounted rate. Parks

Enjoy a picnic,  a game of Frisbee or a nature walk. For birdwatching,  Libraries in Broward & greater Palm Beach loan free equipment for birdwatching.

Some parks in Broward, Miami-Dade and greater Palm Beach are always free with free parking.  Others are relatively inexpensive.

Indoor fun in Hollywood

Free entry day at the art venue  is usually 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. third Sundays. Free entry includes art exhibits and often an  family art project or activity. 

Regular entry fees are $7 for adults, $4 for kids, students & seniors, free for , free ages 3 and younger, teachers, military & members.

Live entertainment for kids & adults at Plantation Walk

3 p.m – 7 p.m. Sunday, June 16 Radio performs

 Plantation Walk is a plaza with several restaurants that features free outdoor live entertainment.

Plantation Walk is at 321 N. University Drive, Plantation. Parking is free.

Pets are usually permitted. Outside food and beverages are typically not permitted.

Manatee Lagoon in Riviera Beach

Interactive educational exhibits, solar trees and opportunities for selfies are featured at a waterfront attraction in Riviera Beach. Entry is free. Manatee Lagoon, 561-626-2833, is at 6000 N. Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, parking is  free.

Outdoor Bingo in Sunrise

Sunrise offers free outdoor Bingo. Participants receive a game packet for about nine games, while supplies last. 

The events in 2024 include 6 p.m. June 16, and entry is free. Games are at 6 p.m. and prizes are offered. The park is at 6600 Sunset Strip, Sunrise. Parking is free. Bring a blanket or portable seat if you'd like.  For information, phone  954- 747-4600, Sunrise parks and recreation department.

If Dad likes fresh local food items, lots of farmers markets and vendor fairs offer an interesting array of items and produce, and sometimes entertainment and activities like free yoga.
