Family Farms in Davie offers U-pick, petting farm & events

Family Farms in Davie offers produce for purchase, including occasional U-pick items, flower fields and activities.

The farm with farm animals on display is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Sundays; and 10 a.m. to 10  p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, usually with free entry. Fees apply for some activities and events.

U-pick items

Onions, tomatoes, sunflowers, zinnias and other items are offered for picking, when in season.

The flower fields, when in bloom, are accessible for photo ops. Prices for flowers are usually $1.50 – $5 each.  A pumpkin patch is offered in the fall.

Bonfires

Free entry for bonfires which are usually featured about 6 p.m. Saturdays, and food is offered for purchase.  Sometimes live bands are featured.

Hayrides & pony rides

Offered Thursdays – Sundays

Hayrides are $5. Pony rides are $10.

A petting farm is free for spectators.

Easter

Easter events with egg hunts are offered  Saturdays, March 23 and March 30 and Sundays, March 24 and March 31, with fees. 

Egg hunt and photo op with bunny for 5 and younger, $5

Egg hunt and photo op  with bunny for 6 and older, $5

Egg glow hunt offered March 23 and March 30 for 12 and younger, $5

Previous events

Fall Festival

Pumpkin patch, artisan vendors and live bands are featured occasionally. Scarecrows are on display. Activities with fees include, pumpkin painting for $5, maze for $8, and a wristband for a bounce house, straw maze and play area is $10.

Halloween party 

Entry into farm is $20 and includes hayride, maze, petting farm, pumpkin patch, photo ops, and  bonfire. Haunted hayride and haunted maze offered at night. Food is available for purchase and vendors are on site. Costume contests are offered.
