Winter Wonderland exhibit in Plantation

Festive theme decorated trees and a Hanukkah display are featured at a free Winter Wonderland exhibit in Plantation. 

The indoor exhibit at Plantation Historical Museum includes a mini train village, a gift shop and occasional extra festive events. Extra events feature Santa and live entertainment.

In 2025 the display with about 40 trees  is open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. November 15, and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays, to January 3, with a few exceptions. Entry is free. Donations are accepted.

Theme trees previously included international, sweet treats and Florida Panthers hockey. It's a nice opportunity for snapping holiday photos.

Extra events include 

Santa 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. December 13 

Piano performances  11 a.m. December 13  

The venue is not open:

  • November 27-28
  • after 1 p.m. December 24 
  • December 25
  • January 1
