Plywood Regatta in Dania Beach

Teens from schools in South Florida are building watercraft from plywood and hopping aboard their DIY boats in the Plywood Regatta in Dania Beach.

Plywood Regatta event in 2026 is 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, April 26, and watching the floating tournament is free for spectators.

 Broward students from middle and and high schools are eligible to participate, and the boats will be built on Saturday. Register by March 28 online. 

The venue is Dania Beach marina, 300 N. Beach Road, Dania Beach. Regular parking fees at the marina are $5.
