Lake Worth Beach's free oceanside bonfires are back for the 2022-2023 season with the city-sponsored gatherings usually first and third Fridays during the months it's offered.

What to bring to the bonfire
Pack your towels, beach chairs, coolers and s'mores kits to the Lake Worth Municipal Beach just north of the Lake Worth Pier. You might want to bring a flashlight.
There, you will find a bonfire in the sand from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., weather permitting. You can make your way to the water or stay above the crowd on the boardwalk that faces the ocean.
If you are feeling extra, pick up some glow-in-the-dark bracelets and necklaces from a dollar store for you and your crew.

Where to park
There is a $3-per-hour fee to park in the city lot just west of the beach. Overflow parking is available across State Road A1A at Old Bridge Park.

Where to eat
If you don't have time to pack snacks and drinks, you can pick up a pizza from beachside Mama Mia's or some chocolates from the nearby Kilwins.
Or plan ahead, and make a reservation at the one of the popular waterfront open-air dining spots: Viva La Playa or Benny's on the Beach.
